I’m a Creative Director from Monterrey, Mexico, now based in Austin, Texas, with more than 20 years of experience shaping advertising and branded content. My work blends storytelling and strategy to help brands connect with culture in ways that feel real, relevant, and meant to last.
I studied Marketing at Tecnológico de Monterrey and began my career at La Sociedad, an agency in my hometown. From there, I moved to Austin to join LatinWorks (now Third Ear) as an Art Director, where I spent 13 years growing into a Creative Director role. During that time, we led work for brands like Anheuser-Busch, Mars, Chevrolet, Burger King, Domino’s Pizza, and Major League Baseball, sharpening my ability to turn cultural insight into clear, effective ideas at scale.
That path eventually took me to New York, where I became Executive Creative Director at Remezcla, one of the most influential Latin digital publishers in the U.S. Over eight years, I led the creative vision for the brand partnerships division and helped build and scale Remezcla’s agency arm, developing a deep understanding of how culture moves within Latin communities in the U.S. The work we created for brands such as Tecate, Dos Equis, Toyota, McDonald’s, Jack Daniel’s, ESPN Deportes, and MLB earned more than 50 industry awards, including Remezcla’s first-ever Cannes Lion.
Today, I work independently, drawing from lived experience and a deep love of music, fashion, art, and food to help brands show up in ways that feel less like advertising and more like something people actually want to be part of.
